Stitching: MYPZ Cardigan

Stripes are great. Aren’t stripes just lovely? Like strata in rocks, layers of life piled one on top of the other. Sometimes they clash and fight, other times settle quietly without much noise.

I like the language of knitting in stripes – all the adventures and stories of life and its various stages represented by different yarns, perhaps left over from other projects, building upwards.

There’s something about community in a colourful pile of stripes.

Layers of life. Juicy and delicious layers of life.

[This pattern is MYPZ Granny stripes Crochet cardigan. I bough my own selection of wool, mainly because I was specific about the colours I wanted.]

All previous chapters and lives that have gone before, passing on knowledge, wisdom and colour, so you could live well. What colour stripe are you today?
