Come and spend a weekend indulging your sewing love with Lizzie on a two-day sewing city break in fabulous Bristol!

Taking place at Bristol Textile Quarter — a working textile studio — choose from any of Lizzie’s patterns and have her right there for guidance and advice while you stitch up a dream over a weekend. In your downtime, explore the glittering dockside and buzzing culture that Bristol has to offer. A perfect getaway for friends and individuals alike, and sewing to suit every ability. Beginners and experienced sewists all welcome, there is something for everyone. Your chosen pattern details will be sent out prior to the weekend so you can purchase fabric and prepare your sewing kit.

Travelling alone? No problem! We’ll head to the pub early Saturday evening and if people wish to eat together, this can be arranged.

Please note: this workshop does not include accommodation or main meals. Tea, coffee and sweet treats will be provided during the daytimes, and we will visit local cafés for lunch.

Location: Five minutes walk from Bristol Temple Meads train station, the Textile Quarter building is a hidden gem, & home to a variety of related businesses, including Dash + Miller and Bristol Weaving Mill.

There is a fabulous pub across the road, and within five minutes walk are both Bristol’s best cake haven Bakehouse and the famous Hart’s Bakery.

A slightly longer walk takes you right into the famous harbourside with a whole host of restaurants, bars, clubs and hotels. Fancy a show? Bristol’s Old Vic or Hippodrome are just a hop away.

Any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with Lizzie.
